Do not be content with showing friendship in words alone, let your heart burn with loving kindness for all who may cross your path."

Each of us has a journey in which we seek the truth: What is my purpose? How can I help develop myself and my community? What happens after my life in this world? In this journey, we may look for guidance, pray to God, read Scriptures and consider reality.

Across the Baltimore area, groups of people from all backgrounds and walks of life gather to learn and discuss such questions and answers in study circles. In groups, they study the Baha'i perspective, learn from each other, and share their journey in a spirit of love and unity.

Together in study circles, individuals develop knowledge and skills to walk a path of service, studying themes such as the significance of prayer and meditation, education for children, the history of the lives of the Bab and Baha'u'llah, the unique capacity of older children as they enter adulthood, and the nature of the soul and life after death.

Words of Wisdom

“The purpose of God in creating man hath been, and will ever be, to enable him to know his Creator and to attain His Presence. To this most excellent aim, this supreme objective, all the heavenly Books and the divinely-revealed and weighty Scriptures unequivocally bear witness.” -Baha'u'llah
